David Oakley

Please join us in welcoming David Oakley to the BESI team working out of Myrtle Beach, SC. David is an
industry veteran with over 36 years of experience in the construction equipment and rental industries.
His career started in 1984 with CSR as a parts manager where he worked his way up through the
company holding other positions in sales and as a branch manager through 1997. After several
ownership changes with the company, he started as a Product Sales Specialist with the Biljax / Haulotte
company from 1999 – 2011. His responsibilities were to grow national account business with Walmart,
Home Depot, Lowes, Best Buy, Circuit City and Pet Smart. He also helped in the development of the
Biljax Summitt series towable lifts for the company. His last 3 years there were as a Territory Manager
overseeing 12 sales representatives from Maine to Miami. During this time, he and his team increased
sales and became the #1 ranked territory for the company. In 2011 David started his career as an
Independent Manufacturer Representative (IMR) covering PA, WV, VA, SC, NC, GA working for two
different agencies over this period. He will continue his IMR career with team BESI for years to come.
